SnapMark

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14/07/2026

SnapMark is a browser extension for capturing and annotating screenshots. This policy explains what data it collects, what it sends to our server, and what stays only on your device.

1. What SnapMark does with your screenshots

Screenshots are captured and edited entirely on your device. A screenshot never leaves your computer unless you personally choose to upload it — there is no automatic or background upload of anything you capture.

2. Information we collect

License key & a randomly generated device ID To check whether Pro is active on this install Your browser (chrome.storage.local) and our license server
Email address Only if you buy a key: to deliver the license key and act as your order record Our payment/licensing database — never stored by the extension itself
Uploaded screenshot (Pro, opt-in only) To host the image and generate a shareable link Our server, until you delete it
Recent-uploads list (id, link, delete token) So you can see and delete your recent cloud links from the popup Your browser (chrome.storage.local) only

We do not collect browsing history, page content, analytics events, or any data about pages you visit. SnapMark has no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking code of any kind.
